Climbing Masterclass is a two-DVD series that was released in 2005, and recently shared by Neil Gresham on Youtube. It is perfect for the visual learner who needs to see techniques (good and bad) being demonstrated. It will be the closest thing you'll get to a climbing coach without having a coach.
The series focuses heavily on technique then offers advice on effective training, red-pointing, on-sighting, and traditional climbing.
It is important to note that instructional books and videos are there to focus/guide your climbing sessions, they are not a replacement for time spent on the rock. For the majority of climbers, the best way to improve will simply be to climb.
